The More Money wordpress plugin is for those who would like to show ads to search engine visitors but not to regular blog readers.

For example, if I go into my stats program I find that this blog is being found in search engines for the phrase “wordpress paypal” meaning that if you do a search in Google you see me on page #1 for that phrase and people visit looking for information about intergrating paypal into wordpress. If you greet the folks with a banner or text link ad you might pick up a few extra dollars for pizza and beer because the people are hopefully looking for related content.

If you would like to monetize your blog you can do so by adding ads to all pages (which is kind of cheezy) or just show ads on pages that are actually being visited from search engines by using this More Money plugin.

Setup is easy, extract to your plugins folder, upload, enable, copy ad code into this plugins options area, paste

into your sidebar, header, page or single post and you are good to go!

There has been a few attempts to make Wordpress Shopping Cart solutions but all so far have been extremely buggy, well not anymore. Here comes the outstanding Sourceforge.net community with a working shopping cart plugin called Yak for Wordpress.

YAK or Yet Another Kart is a basic shopping cart system which allows a product to be associated with a post or page. This provides much needed support for online payments such as PayPal and allows you to use your blog as an online store. (nice!)

Shopping Cart Installation and Setup

Before you download and enable the YAK shopping cart you must first install the Exec-PHP Plugin for Wordpress. Exec-PHP basically allows you to execute code within posts, the Yak Shopping Cart needs this functionality to work properly so install this first, then proceed to the links below.

View some cool YAK Screenshots
Download YAK for Wordpress

Instead of me wasting time repeating what is already out there for you to follow let me direct you to the shopping cart installation instructions. If you are not geeky enough I guess I could help you install the plug-in if you got something to trade or barter.
